Great news for my fellow Sunraes: Addison Rae's album officially has a release date. The "Diet Pepsi" singer dropped the date during Arca's Coachella performance, by which I mean she showed up on stage wearing custom PINK Seamless Hiphugger underwear from Victoria's Secret with "June 6" written on them.
How everyone should be dropping their album release dates, imo.
Also, here's Addison performing "Aquamarine" in case you missed it:
Details on Addison's album remain hush-hush, but she did just tease a new song called "Headphones On" that I can only assume will be all I listen to this summer.
And here's how Rolling Stone—who listened to the album with Addison for their cover story—describes it:
"What she shares are hypnotic, trance-like pop songs, pulsating and lush, which will no doubt accomplish the primary goal of Rae and her collaborators: to make people dance. The lyrics are threaded with images of a life that’s young, fun, and free: being naked on a beach, flying to Paris on a whim, being drunk at a bar. There’s no ego or self-seriousness; as we hear her exclaim 'I’m the richest girl in the world!' toward the end of one track, she laughs at herself with her whole body from behind the wheel."
Cool, can't wait to make Sunrae Summer my entire personality.
